Reservation conditions and provisions

Reservations are subject to the following provisions:


 We prefer to handle reservations by e-mail. The fee for reservations by e-mail is only €6 per space instead of €12, but you will not receive a written confirmation or a brochure. You can make your reservation by letter, telephone, fax, or e-mail: Reservations are required during peak seasons (Ascension/Whitsuntide, July/August). If you wish to reserve a specific space or several spaces in close vicinity of one another, we will charge a preference fee of €7 per space. Each space is subject to a maximum of 1 car and 6 persons (including babies). We do NOT accept groups or youths. Please note that we have only limited parking available for additional cars. Dogs are always permitted, but must remain leashed at all times.


 Extending your stay is only possible if your space is still available after the agreed period.


 Cancellations must be made in writing no later than one month prior to the date of arrival. The deposit will be refunded after deducting the €12 or €6 reservation fee and any bank transfer fees.

 Late arrival / Early departure

 In case of arrival on a day other than the day agreed or early departure for any reason whatsoever, you must pay the full camping fee for the space reserved for you. No refund will be made. Your space will be made available to others unless you have notified us by telephone or in writing of your late arrival after 6.00 p.m. Failure to observe this rule will result in termination of your right to the reserved space, even if you have already paid.


 Please pay the deposit equal to half the total amount due by bank transfer to our bank account (Rabobank 30 31 49 000) within 10 days* of the date of the preliminary reservation confirmation sent to you. Please verify all details and notify us of any errors. With your bank transfer to our giro or bank account, please include the reservation number and the NAW (name and address) number indicated on the preliminary reservation confirmation. After payment of half of the total amount due, you will receive the final reservation confirmation. The balance of the camping fee must be received by us no later than 14 days prior to the start of your stay.

 *If we have not received your deposit on time, we will assume that you do not wish to make a final reservation and your reservation request will be deemed to have been cancelled.

 Arrival – Reception opening hours

 Our reception is open from 9 a.m. to 20 p.m.


On the day of departure, your space must be vacated no later than 11 a.m. No exceptions will be made. New guests may be waiting.


Rates are per day (from 11 a.m. on the day of arrival until 11 a.m. on the date of departure), for guests with a tent, caravan, or camper van, including one small extension tent.


About Camping de Donkere Duinen

Our campsite is ideally suited for people who want a quiet and relaxing holiday. Nearby are beautiful bike and walking paths as well as longer trips are possible. In the villages and towns in the area is always something to do (see our aktiviteten calendar). A day trip by bike (bike rentals are available at the reception) to the island TEXEL is definitely worth it.
