The beach is less than 800 metres away and can be reached via a footpath through the forest. Clean air and an unspoilt horizon are synonymous with this untouched environment. Hikers and skaters can stretch their legs and enjoy panoramic views while roaming through the dunes—views of the rugged coastline of the North Sea on one side and of grand farmhouses dotting the bulb fields.
The area connects to exceptionally beautiful, yet sadly delicate nature reserves such as Mariëndal and Gravelijkheidsduinen surrounding the campsite.
